The processing of personal data in the Lux-Medicus clinic takes place on the basis established by law, as well as in accordance with the data protection regulations and the privacy policy of the clinic.

Based on the Law on the organization of the provision of medical services, the Lux-Medicus clinic, as an organization providing medical services, has the right to process the necessary personal data of the patient for the provision of medical services, incl. patient health data.

In order to provide medical services, a medical worker of the Lux-Medicus clinic may need to familiarize himself with the patient’s personal data in the Health information system or in any other database of any form even before the start of the appointment.

The clinic conducts audio and video recording in order to protect the rights of the patient and the clinic staff. The recording is stored up to 30 days on the hard disk. Procedures for the care of the intimate area are carried out in the office without audio and video cameras.

If the patient cancels the visit or does not appear for the appointment after the medical officer of the Lux-Medicus clinic has become familiar with personal data for the purpose of providing medical services, then familiarization with the patient’s personal data for the provision of medical services is considered reasonable.

The Lux-Medicus clinic keeps confidential the patient’s identity, health and personal life data obtained for the provision of medical services.

The Lux-Medicus Clinic has the right to keep the fact of providing medical services for the purpose of documentation.

In order to protect the personal data of other patients, photography, audio recording and filming in the Lux-Medicus Clinic is only permitted with the written consent of the Lux-Medicus Clinic Management Board.

 

Response to a request
